Refund Policy

Please review our refund policy to understand how we handle refunds and cancellations.

Eventa Ticket Refund Policy

When an organizer cancels a paid event, Eventa refunds every buyer in full (ticket price, service fee and any tax), with no request needed: card payments made through Stripe go back to the card automatically, and bKash or SSLCommerz payments (cards paid through SSLCommerz included) are refunded by our team by hand. For anything else, refunds follow the event organizer's refund policy.

When an Event Is Cancelled

  • Card payments made through Stripe: the whole amount goes back to the card you paid with as soon as the event is cancelled. If the refund hits a temporary problem, we try again automatically for about 15 minutes. If it still doesn't go through, our team refunds you by hand. Your bank decides when the refund shows on your statement.
  • bKash and SSLCommerz payments, including cards paid through SSLCommerz: our team sends the refund by hand, through the payment method you used.
  • Ticket holders are told with an "Event cancelled" notification on Eventa. We don't send an email about the cancellation.

How to Request a Refund

For any other refund, please reach out to us:

When you contact us, be sure to include your ticket reference or token number. Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the event's scheduled date. This 24-hour window applies only to these requests, not to cancelled events. Processing times may vary from 7-10 working days.

If a refund for a cancelled event hasn't reached you, or you completed a payment after the event was cancelled, contact us with your order number.

Important Notes

  • Cancelled events are always refunded in full.
  • Tickets bought under a sale or promotion offer are not generally refundable unless a major quality issue is found.
